 A zookeeper Mustapha Adam has been killed by lion that broke out of its cage at
Gamji Gate amusement park,Kaduna and attacked him. He died as a result of wound sustained from the lion attack in the early hours of Wednesday Feb.7th. after being taken to the hospital. According to BBC Africa, the lion has since been lured back into its cage after the attack.

A fresh graduate of Lagos State polytechnic, Ikorodu by name Akinfolarin has been killed from bullets fired by robbers in the Festac area of Lagos State penultimate week. According to the Nation the deceased was returning home from an outing without knowing that the robbers were operating in the area. Home base super eagles lashes Equatoria Guinea 3:1

Nigeria started  poorly on the first half but rallied early enough in the second half to secure a 3-1 win over Equatorial Guinea. Nsi Eyama headed Equatorial Guinea into the lead in 40th minute and they held that advantage till the end of the first half. During the second half, the Super Eagles stepped up their game and just before the hour-mark, Anthony Okpotu levelled score for Nigeria through a stunning header off a cross from Osas Okoro.
